That Chicken Place

I recently visited this establishment and was extremely pleased by the kind service the owner provided. The chicken was delicious and the Nashville sauce added another level of intensity… plus the tater tots ensured you left satisfied! The only thing that could have made it better was for me to eat at the restaurant rather than getting takeout!

Kudos to the 2 young ladies and chef working their butts off. The restaurant we were going to had closed and we saw this place. We walked in with 13 people, it's a tiny place across from Angel in the Wind amphitheater before our grandson's graduation. Killer cocktails, fresh yummy food, lots of laughter. Exceptionally clean restroom, prices very reasonable. I had a small salad and stuffed sauce mushrooms, it was excellent and filling. Hubby had BLT, it was huge, lots of bacon. Every one was quite satisfied. Thanks for making this a great day!

When i arrived, I loved the decor of the restaurant. However, it was disturbing to hear the waitresses respond to a customer who asked “do you have an estimated time for the wait for my pick up order,” mind you he was a very polite older man. Both waitresses looked up with blank faces and said no we don’t. What was really upsetting is their behavior, both were just talking away like they were the only ones in the restaurant. I assume it was the owner/lady in the back preparing the food, but neither one of the waitresses did anything to assist the lady cooking. You would assume the waitresses could of at least been polite to the people waiting, no customer service skills between them both. Sorry, to ramble on, but it was shocking how rude these waitresses were. Neither wore a name tag, both had light brown hair, one shoulder length, the other one had a boy cut with cap on. This was on 5/10/22 ( my heart went out to that older gentleman) between 12pm- 1pm. Really bad experience, I do not recommend going here if you expect customer service, who knows maybe for customers eating there who offer tips will be treated respectfully. If the owner sees this, I hope they will express the importance of customer service to those ladies. 😊

My son and I came here for lunch today. He got chicken strips and I ordered wings. Both types of chicken were prepared very well. My wings were crispy on the outside and moist inside. The wing sauces were both excellent. I ordered Buffalo and Nashville. Both flavors were spicy and tasty. My son's chicken tenders were perfectly prepared. He said they had a mice breading on them and were also cooked perfectly. I would definitely cone back again in the future.

What a wonderful discovery. We were waiting for Mariner HS graduation to start and the restaurant we were going to meet at had closed. We chose this as an alternate. there were thousands of people out and about, this place is not large but they not only found seating for 8, they made room for 5 more late arrivals. the food and service?Just outstanding. every one in our party was completely satisfied with their meals. Ihad a Zach's favorite, my wife had a salad and the sausage-stuffed mushrooms. All were excellent, the mushrooms are worthy of repeat business. They offer a good selection of alcoholic beverages along with an equally nice selection of non-alcoholic. I had a great peach cider but I darn near ordered the old standby Roy Rogers just because I hadn't had one in decades. Next time I probably will. they also offer Shirley Temples :-) the service was so good. Friendly and, in the middle of that chaos they managed to keep track of all the orders and bills, checked several times to make sure everything was satisfactory and just made the experience worthy of 5 stars. We will go out of our way to eat at That Chicken Place anytime we're in the Everett downtown area. It's directly across from Angel of the Winds Auditorium, a great place to dine, have a nice beverage and wait for the doors at AotW to open..
