Ihop

I absolutely love THIS IHOP restaurant and travel from Kentucky specifically to eat here quite often. It is conveniently located near the Veteran's Memorial Pkwy and also the Lloyd Expressway on Burkhardt Road. The staff are incredibly friendly and actually seem very happy to be there! The food is INCREDIBLE! I get one of two things when I go, omelet of ANY kind or pancakes of ANY kind or a combination of both! I haven't ever gotten anything BUT delicious food at this IHOP.! There is plenty of parking as well! I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is hands down the worst french toast I have ever ordered. It looked beautiful on the plate, but after the first bite, the bread was what I would describe as raw and uncooked in the middle. Unfortunately the service was the best part of my meal. I will not be returning with any of my family. Not sure what is going on with the dryer vent going into the ceiling? 😟

I was extremely disappointed. When we got seated, the benches hadn’t been cleaned off. Okay no biggie. My food isn’t going on the bench. We order our food. I ordered pancakes with no peanut butter. We get most of our food. She said she would be back with the pancakes. Instead, she cane back with peanut butter and syrup. Okay, i thought, maybe they’re not done yet. Until i heard the servers ask where the pancakes were supposed to go. When she brings them over there’s a scoop of butter on top. On top of pancakes that were ordered with NO butter. I told her that they were wrong and sent them back. I don’t know if it was the cook or the server that thought this part was a good idea. They scraped off the butter, put that pancake on the bottom, and the other one on top of it. Like seriously?!? You don’t think i’m going to check since it’s going in my mouth?? I sent them back again. This part is the icing on the cake. I ordered a T-bone steak & eggs to take home to my hubby. When he opens the container, i was livid. Sunny side up eggs are not suppose to have a clear egg white. The middle one was not cooked all the way. Well then he’s getting into his steak. Not only is not cooked properly, they left the da** toothpick in the steak. My boys and I will never eat here again. The General Manager, Ricardo, better do something because none of this is acceptable.

This place has gone downhill since it opened. The lack service is exhausting. There were 4 or 5 servers and 3 tables being served. I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese, with a glass of oj. It still took over 30 minutes to get my food. They're supposed to be moving to a new location, but I am not expecting any improvements other than new furniture.

On our way back home this morning, stopped to have breakfast at this IHOP. Was seated at 8am and we waited until 8:15am. Not one server came to our table. No they weren’t busy. One server came to the booth in front of us 5 times(yes I was counting) never acknowledged us or anything so we left. I ask to speak to a manager and the young lady looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. Guess we didn’t meet their standards for service.

Visited the IHOP in Evansville today to enjoy the new minions menu. I would like to point out that when we arrived the dining room had about 6 tables. The staff was very friendly. The store was unusually warm inside. When we asked someone about turning on the fans she did not speak English so she had to go get another server. We were then told that the air conditioning is not working, nor are the ceiling fans. It was explained that they were getting ready to move to a new building therefore they were not planning to repair the air or fans. I feel bad for those working here as local heat indexes are expected to be 110-115 for the next week. Makes for a miserable experience
