First time visiting and I had a great experience. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful and provided great recommendations. The food was a good sized portion and tasted amazing! The only complaint I had was the noodles were pretty clumped, but mine was more of a dry dish, so it was understandable.

Great food right next to campus. Everything I've tried on the menu is delicious. It gets fairly packed during lunch, but that's because it's so good and inexpensive for the quality you're getting.

Not sure why the high reviews? I got the drunken noodles and pot stickers and they are bland and greasy. Mediocre at very best. The lady at the counter was super nice though, the food came quickly, and it looked pretty clean inside. I probably won't be going back with all the other Thai restaurants nearby.

They have quite a variety of dishes, and somehow manage to pull all of them off pretty well. The prices and portions are good. I like their spice selection. Yummy!

Food was not bad, but the dishes were completely unsanitary. I came in with a friend and he found out the cup he drank from was very dirty! Dark shade murky black residues. . Always check your cups before filling it up with water!

I'm a visiter staying at the University of Oregon campus for a few weeks, not a local, so I can't really compare Noodle Head to any of the other offerings nearby. However, I do live near a college campus back home and so have thoroughly tested the waters of various Asian cuisine. That's my simple disclaimer.
I ordered the Drunken Noodles with Chicken, and my friend ordered Fried Rice with Chicken and an order of the potstickers. Prices were reasonable at $7.25 per dish and (I think) $3 for the potstickers. They also didn't overcharge for drinks which is always a plus.
The potstickers were some of the best I have ever had, perfectly crispy on the outside and not at all a soggy mess on the inside like I've had so many times before. Even being stuffed, I crammed the last one in because I couldn't bear to throw it away.
My noodles were also fabulous! I already want to go back for more. They were not as spicy as I expected, but there is a little condiment bar where I was able to add extra garlic chili sauce and I was a happy girl! The portions were generous and I didn't get all the way through my bowl. I think next time I would order the beef though. The chicken was good but didn't seem to integrate as well as I would hope.
My friend's Fried Rice was just okay. He enjoyed it though, so maybe it was just because I had been eating my strong spicy meal before trying it. Meanwhile, he tried mine and had to grab a glass of water quickly.
The restaurant itself is very college feeling. It's a bit run down, very lightly staffed, and has a style bordering on a fast food place. After ordering at a counter, they give you a number and your cup for the soda fountain if you ordered a drink. Then you can sit at the tables somewhere and get your food when your number is called. There are signs around saying to bus your own table, and the bowls are not disposable so you have to dump out the remaining food and put the plate up on a stand near the trash. Everyone was pleasant though and the place worked for me. I'm sure I'll be going again before I leave town.

While eating delicious yakisoba, I bit into a small metal bristle, like the kind used for scraping a grill clean. It got stuck in my gums, and honestly this place used to be my favorite....but now I literally call a restaurant before I eat there JUST to ask how they clean the grill because it is illegal to use the metal brushes. Because they get stuck in the food.
Person behind the counter couldn't understand what I was even trying to tell her.
Or she didn't want to deal with it so pretended to not understand.

Well, I like the yellow curry and rice. Not enough vegetables though and costs $9 with the tip the machina almost makes you make. OK, wish there were somewhere where they did better vegetables.
