Super fresh bread and ingredients. I haven't had a sub this good in years.
While I love coming here, the parking situation is a joke. I couldn't get in my car with a car parked next to me and we were both I'm the space. I couldn't be mad at the other driver, it's the spaces...they are TOO narrow!

Best Sub sandwich place in Rancho Bernardo and surrounding places, period! Whats with the sensitive jabrone haters on here with one star? Get real! I've been going to old location for lunch for years, old location closed and left me sad and depressed. This new placed opened, and the food is top notch! They have extra ingredients in the counter behind them, and have laid back fun loving employees. Anyway gonna keep eating my hella dank sub. Peace out haters! ✌

Ingredients are a level above most sandwich shops. Toppings are generous in the several times I have been to new location. They are training staff and that can slow or confuse the line sometimes. I usually go off peak weekend times so I have always gotten good service. Not a lot of seating. Not the cheapest but quality makes it a 'value' imo versus other brands. Get the loyalty card and get a freebie after ten purchases. Suddenly I need a great sandwich. C u there.

Submarina is, in a word, fabulous!
My wife and I paid a visit to the newly-reopened Rancho Bernardo location and arrived about ten minutes prior to their scheduled closing time. The employees were courteous, the restaurant was clean, and our sandwiches were very well made. The bread was soft and delicious, the meat was piled high, and toppings were a-plenty!
We just found our new favorite restaurant! Thanks and keep up the great work!

First time being in one, and what I got was pretty great. More varied breads compared to other sub shops, but limited veggies similar to Jersey Mike's.
