Customer be aware!!! This is a FRAUD business. They put an automatic 18% service charge for two guests while their service is horrible. Do not get me wrong, I do not mind to tip them 20% if they really worth for the service. The waitress was chatting and playing with her phone all the time. They did not refill our water, check on our table whether we need to refill the soup, and hard to find during the entire meal. The restaurant not even busy when we were there. They did not inform us if they put an automatic service charge so if you did not pay attention you might end up giving them an additional tip as the tip suggestion was also displayed on the check! When I asked the waitress why she put an automatic 18% charge for two people, she told us because we ordered the buffet menu. Well, your menu did not mention any auto charge for group or two people. Even if you plan to play this game, you need at least let your customer know in the beginning that you will put an automatic service charge for the buffet menu. When I asked to see a manager or owner, the waitress said there was no manager or owner in charge in the restaurant. This is totally a robbery! Management needs to pay attention to this issue, or I will report this to 311!

Not bad for the price. I got a ton of mushrooms and vegetables for my hotpot and they were pretty fresh. They do charge a dollar to get sauces which was kind of eeird for me but its okay. There are 2 waitresses and one of them barely speaks any english or maybe she was just hard of hearing. The place is a bit slow in the afternoon, and I haven't gone at night so I can't comment on the foot traffic in the evening. I paid about $45-50 for 2 people.

It's decent shabu shabu for the price. The service could be a little more attentive but for the price it's a great bang for the buck. There's plenty of different soups (thai, curry, tonkotsu, kimchi, etc) as well as plenty of meat, seafood and vegetable options to satisfy most. Making your own dipping mix is fun and being able to change the taste whenever you want keeps it from being boring. They have a great lunch special. Be prepared this place is cash only and on cold days it gets very packed and the wait can be long.

CASH ONLY. Good food with an affordable price. Problem is they closed early when me & my friends ate here. It was plastered on the door that they close at 11pm so we took our time eating and by 9pm they where already done cleaning the other half of the restaurant and started cleaning the area where we were eating. We were pressured to finish our food in a hurry because we were the only customers left. That's the only problem I encountered.

Finally they started taking debit cards. Lobe this place for its hotpot and friendly staff. I got tons of veggies and chicken with kimchi based soup and cant deny they were very good. Its one of the best ppacein queens for hotpot. Not so pricey and quality of food and service both are very good. Thank you shell cove.

I would rather give no star at all if there is an option. Servers was rude enough to call me garbage at the end when I said I am not satisfied with the service at all so I don't want to leave any tip. Service was horrible. The story began when The Waitresses said on Monday evening 14th, 2017 that we can't stay longer than pass 11. P.M. while we have almost two plates full of meats left and few other orders. They even said their boss only pays them $9/hr (which I believe Has nothing to do with me) so why would they work pass their closing time. I asked the lady again to make sure that we can stay after 11 o'clock to finish our food the second time because I thought I missinterpret myself but she denied straight up very rudely repeating they only get paid very less So they can't let us to stay to finish our food. Both the waitresses was unimaginably rude. One of them called me "garbage, never comeback here" and the othe waitress said " get out". I would never reccomend this place. My Worst experience in New York City. 👎🏻

Super cheap hot pot with enough seating so that a big crowd can all eat together, so far the only hot pot place in the area that can do this consistantly. I love taking anyone and everyone to this place, it's great to have a nice talk and some fantastic food. If you're just starting, try a Shabu Shabu, it has a bunch of things to cook in your pot and some meats of your choice (my favorite is the beef.) Would recommend if you've got the time for a lot of food for an affordable price!
