Applebee's

Sam was our server and he was working hard seating us immediately on a Saturday evening. He was friendly, prompt and attentive. We have not been to Applebees for several years and we were impressed with our recent visit. We ordered the two for $24 - it has an appetizer and we both got the delicious oriental chicken salad. The community artwork and pictures were enjoyable to view making Applebees seem more like a local establishment, not a chain restaurant.

First I give our server props ( didn't catch her name), my sister ordered grilled chicken on her salad and then insisted she ordered crispy. Took and exchanged it no problem. My husband ended up sitting on something sticky on his chair. Not a big deal but he mentioned it and they sent us home with dessert for 2. Over and above Applebee's. Thank you, I wish we lived closer.

SHOUT OUT TO THE ELK RIVER APPLEBEE'S & ONE CUSTOMER... Last Friday, April 29th, my daughter & 2 granddaughters & myself were at Applebee's for dinner. My daughter has been doctoring for a medical condition. We'd placed our order & while waiting, her pain suddenly skyrocketed. Thank you to the gentleman from another table close by who turned out to be a paramedic. Your help was greatly appreciated. Thanks as well to our waitress & the Manager for their help too. They called an ambulance for us & kept the situation as private as possible. Thanks to the Police & Paramedics/Ambulance Service for their assistance. You were awesome dealing with 2 scared kids. After 6 days in the hospital, my daughter is home. Elk River has awesome people living here ❤️

It's gone downhill over the last few years. And the last time we had curbside, they forgot some items and promised to send a gift certificate (just to replace the missing items when really it should be that and something more) which never came. Last time inside the servers (besides ours) were rolling eyes, unfriendly and short. Maybe they had an off day, but we're done there. They're definitely not what they used to be. At least the food was good (aside from burnt desert).

Had to wait 10 minutes to get seated and another 15 to get an attention of our server to place an order even they haven't been busy at all. They gave coloring page for kids but had no crayons LOL that's messed up considering the whole purpose of coloring page to keep kids busy. Server brought our food, ask if kids needs another drink and left. All trash and dirty plates set on table like it's not finished. Another funny fact: google address doesn't match building location. No worries we still find you to leave feedback. All considered management isn't there. Dont think I will ever be eating here ever again with such a service.
