Too expensive, not good food or games and very dirty.. staff is not very helpful, salad bar gross! They left the salad bar cart out that they were refilling the salad bar with the entire time we were there with food sitting out spoiling all I could think was ecoli .. worst chuck e cheese we've been too!!!!

My nephew attended his friend's birthday party here recently. I have to say that my family has lived in El Monte 32 years and had birthday parties here as kids ourselves. I've seen this Chuck E Cheese go through all its changes and it really has become a nice spot. This is in fact the nicest it has been in 32 years. It is divided into 2 halves. One side for younger children and the other with more mature games. Merry go round vs arcade games. Our pizza was well made and the staff was super polite and friendly. The days of tokens are long gone and all your game money is stored on a tap card. You can return the card at the end of your visit for a piece of candy. The prize booth is very much the same and the game machines still dispense tickets. I was pleased with how clean the dining room was as well as the bathrooms being well taken care of. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy but not annoyingly crowded. There is plenty of parking as this is a shared lot in a small strip mall. Be sure to take advantage of the birthday club for special offers.

Place itself could use a remodel. Need better games that actually work. This one is in a smaller location, not too many tables. Staff always changes, always hit or miss. Food also hit or miss, depends on who is on duty that day :/ kids love it tho. They always have fun regardless of how many working games they actually play.

Where do I start?... I know let's start with the food. Unbelievable wait we waited more than an hour just for a pizza. Some pizzas were coming out burnt. The games didn't work well it never really gave us tickets. There aren't any really good games. It really sucks for families crowded around games. A lot of people wanted refunds. That's how bad this place is
