Salish Sea Brewing

My wife and I stopped in for dinner around 6:00 pm on a Friday, 4.15.22. We had a short wait outside while we waited for a table. Service for our drinks while we waited was great. Looking through the menu we both found multiple options that looked good. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich with a side salad, I ordered the Mac & beer cheese with pulled pork. My wife loved her sandwich and salad. My Mac and cheese came with a good sized pile of pulled pork on top. Sadly the pulled pork was very dry and lacked flavor. The Mac & cheese under the pork was delicious. I asked for some BBQ sauce in an effort to help the pork, five minutes of waiting, I had to ask a different waiter, thankfully the 2nd waiter came back immediately. Side note, the BBQ has a lot of room for improvement. Overall the service was inconsistent, and food is decent, my wife loved her order, I’d order the Mac & cheese again but I’d definitely skip adding the pulled pork. I recommend avoiding the pulled pork. My wife said we’ll go back so hopefully we’ll have an improved experience.

Their beers are good and the food is solid. We ordered the nachos, which were really, really good - enough for a meal for 2-3 easily. Also had the pork street tacos, BLT with potato leek soup (the soup was outstanding!) and pork gyro. Everyone really liked their food. Great atmosphere with a few TVs for those that want to keep an eye on the game. Outdoor seating on the sidewalk is surrounded by plants which makes for a nice setting. Dayton Ave. in Edmonds isn't very busy so street noise isn't a concern. The location is perfect in the heart of Edmonds with lots of great places to walk to. If you're having a sunny Edmonds day, stop by and have a cold beer while hanging out in the sun or grab a bite without breaking the bank. Two thumbs up!! 👍👍

Edited 6/30: we will never return. The unwashed fruit caused my toddler to catch a norovirus (food poisoning) within 24hrs. Since we share the same food, we know it was the fruit because that is the only thing we did not share. The service was just okay - we had to repeatedly ask for items before we received them. The fish tacos were a disappointment. They were completely lacking flavor other than the salsa they were topped with. The beer cheese fries were okay because the pulled pork was good, but the beer cheese recipe should be reworked (or we got an old batch poured on our order). We also ordered a fruit bowl and it came out with a spider web and spider still in the middle of the grapes, which makes me question whether the fruit was washed at all before it was served. We came here for a friend's birthday brunch and will think twice before returning.
