Best sub shop/deli in all of central jersey. The meat selection is very large, and very fresh. Vegetables and toppings are also very flavorful and complementary to the rest of the ingredients. Prices are also very reasonable for the portion size being served. Staff is also super kind and will never mess up your order, no matter how complicated it may get. HIGHLY recommend to anyone who needs a bite for lunch or is just hungry for a sandwich. Nowhere better to go in the area than subworks.

I've been going to this place for a coupe years now. Today I decided to get the food delivered and I was delighted to see my food still fresh and the manager driving himself to give us our food. I tried giving him a big tip but he refused and gave me my change. The food is great and the people are just as great. Support local!

Awful. Just awful. One star is too generous. I ordered one foot long roast beef with O&V on the side and one foot long pastrami with brown mustard. When I brought the sandwiches home, not only did my wife's sandwich have just a single layer of beef on end of the sandwich, and not only did they forget the O&V on the side.. and not only did they forget to put mustard on my pastrami.. on top of all of this, it was the same meat on both sandwiches. And I don't think it was beef or pastrami.. it was some kind of charred bologna. When I went back to complain in person, the sandwich maker wanted to give me more food. This place is awful. Save your money. Make your own sammiches.
