Takeaway pastries: the pistachio Mazarin was beautiful, well baked and tasty. But the almond paste overpowered the pistachio cream. The Swedish blueberry vanilla bun (BLÅBÄRSBULLAR) was also great and would be perfect with a little stronger blueberry flavour.

Nice espresso, sweets, bread, and friendly staff. I like that the inside is not too cramped with tables. It’s quite relaxing for sitting in.

This is my favourite cafe, the coffee is great, they have gluten free options and the guy working there is always absolutely lovely to everyone. Very much enjoy every visit!! Thank you ❤️

A very nice local coffee shop. Nice ambience and efficient service. The latte I had was tasty and the cookie was great. All at a pretty normal price for Morningside which is a slightly more expensive area for all coffee shops in Edinburgh.
