This is by far the best place on the island to buy a taco. Amazing service, food freshly cooked after order, and you get a lot of value for your dollar in this day and age. If you’re in OB or on MV in general, this should be incorporated into your plan

Great tacos! Homemade tasty chips and corn tortillas plus that margarita is tasty too!. The chicken had great flavor I felt it had a hint of curry mix but wow, flavorful. No real place to sit but it turns around fast. A must have

Pleasantly surprised with this taco spot. Nyc prices, like anything around here. The cauliflower tacos were my favorite, tasted like they used some indian spices. Chicken and falafel tacos are good as well. They also have a delicious spicy sauce.
Margaritas are strong and large so it’s worth the money. Strawberry doesn’t taste like strawberry so don’t spend the extra $2.
Seating in the back and some in the front. They are also open earlier than 5pm (at least on friday) or maybe they do it based on how crowded the area is.
These are definitely authentic tacos, and not something you’d expect for the area. But they are definitely worth for a trip out of the way!

This is the place to relax after work, good tacos, margaritas and mezcal is my go two here! The short rib and steak tacos are the best. There's some seating inside--very cozy and outside seating.

Delicious tacos and friendly staff in an informal setting. There's something here for everyone, carnivores and vegetarians alike. The fish tacos were particularly tasty, and the homemade hot sauce is a must-try (if you can handle it).

My girls and I had a wonderful time this evening at Backyard Taco. The tacos were the best taco’s by far, we ever had. The owner was very personable and fun. Oh and the margaritas were delicious too!! Can’t wait to come back!

Got in late needed a quick bite and drink. Here for a weekend wedding. Got a eggplant taco and falafel taco with a swamp margarita(super spicy). Off da chain. Super friendly staff, I will be back a couple of times before I leave.

BEST tacos on island! And the only place that hand makes their tortillas DAILY. They so so fresh and delicious. The tacos are fantastic and everything here is GLUTEN FREE, plus they have vegetarian and vegan options, as well as dairy free. My two favorite tacos are the eggplant and the falafel, SO tasty. This place gets packed in the summer, so make sure to head in early or just be prepared to wait - the tacos are worth the wait! It's a small place too, fun to be in, good music, and they do have some outdoor space in front and in the back!
