Our local chippy … how lucky are we! The food is beautifully cooked, MSC sustainable fish wrapped in crispy light batter. Delicious. Chips are tasty but not greasy. Servings are generous. Never disappoints. Staff are welcoming cheerful friendly attentive people. We love it!

Lovey chips really nice quality fish which is cooked to order. Lovely little touches with signs telling you what potato is currently in use and current wait time! Also well worth joining the VIP scheme where you get regular perks and offers! Great that they do Haddock again!

We've eaten everywhere, all through UK and Europe.. Fish n chips in the great London city are called the best.. WRONG .. Mike's is our huge family's favourite.. ALWAYS FRESH.. ALWAYS TASTY.. ALWAYS FULFILLING.. ALWAYS RESPECTFUL STAFF.. ALWAYS CLEAN .. Only once was there a minor problem, and next visit was given my order for free with a smile and an apology..
WE KNOW FOOD.. WE EAT OUT AT CLASSY RESTAURANTS.. WE DON'T SUFFER RUBBISH GLADLY..
MIKE'S IS GREAT ............

We have been using this chip shop for many years, all the way back to when it was Nicks. The quality of the food, the service and everything all is fab. I have to say being local I am very proud to support the business and proud of their achievements. All in all a top chippy !

Just wanted to praise all the staff working tonight (21st Oct) they were all working brilliantly together! The young lad who took our order had great customer service presence and I'm sure he'll go far. The other lad had a smashing smile. Keep up the great work! We'll back soon 😊

I was very surprised to just read such negative reviews. I usually only use one chip shop near my home in west end but tonight was out on the road so tried it and very much LOVED IT. No greasy vile chips absolutely not! I have to say you can tell why they have so many awards I was reading all the stuff on the walls - a very very popular place by the read! AND very pleasant happy staff no complaints at all. I highly recommend.

Deliveroo messed around with supplying our order but Mike made it again fresh for us and even sent a voucher with a handwritten apology. I was going to leave a great review anyway because the food was absolutely delicious but I felt more compelled to do so after receiving something so thoughtful from Mike.
It speaks volumes about this business and I only wish there were more business owners in the world who were as down to earth.
The haddock was amazing I definitely recommend adding it to your order!
