Dusty Boot Roadhouse

Horrible service. Lady sitting us just pointed and told us to sit. We had a large party so we split up which the lady seating us said was fine. then the table we split up with’s waiter came and told them that they were NOT aloud to sit here. She was extremely rude and kicked out half our party. Luckily our waiter came and told us we were sitting in the wrong place but didn’t kick us out. He still was rude. Then they both went off and whispered (very loudly) about us. Food was not very good but the horrible service is what made the experience a nightmare. I suggest eating other places with good food and much better service. Would not recommend.

Was hoping for better service after a long day. We were unfortunately met with a miserable hostess, Rosa, who you’d expect would be a welcoming face of the business. Was met with a more welcoming staff and shorter wait time at the Blue Moose. When we made the mistake of staying at the Dusty Boot we were met with terrible service with a waitress who sat down across the restaurant from us without checking to refill our drinks or serve the rest of our requests.

We had an okay experience at Dusty Boot. We had the edamame to start and it was just plan edamame and was nothing special for the price. I got the shrimp power bowl and my wife got the shrimp tacos. She enjoyed her tacos and while the shrimp on my bowl were tasty, the rest was rather plain. But the service was very slow and not too friendly. And for what it was, the price was very high. I understand that this is an expensive area but we have eaten at several establishments in the Vail and Aspen areas and there are many places with better food for less.
