Rib Shack Barbecue

I'm absolutely shocked by the good reviews. Two of us walked in, only ones there ordered pulled pork sliders and a burger. We wanted to try the ribs so we asked for the smallest they had which she replied was 3 for $12. We waited 30 minutes for our food, while 2 other parties were seated and they were all eating a rib while they waited. When our food arrived it was cold, extremely small portions, flavorless and dry. We had plastic forks and a steak knife from the burger that we used on the ribs. There was just chewy cold meat on them that broke forks. The pork was extremely dry, the cornbread was tiny and had no flavor, the burger was soggy and disgustingly greasy. As we left I asked about the ribs which we each took one bite of, why did we need to buy them when everyone else were getting samples? It was a different lady at the counter who said oh you should have got one. No instead we paid for ones we never even ate. $60 with tip, absolute rip off. I would never recommend this place to anyone, ever.

What a disappointment! The staff is just a bunch of teenagers who kept making jokes and dropping the food, the lids of the containers were dirty like re-used? The brisket was salty and greasy, the ribs were covered in old bay, the food was packed in bags....for the price they should do better! What a waste of money, this food is going in the trash.

Delicious burnt ends, brisket and trip, & ribs. 6 delicious BBQ sauces. Really nice staff & quick service. Very clean but not great atmosphere. I can't wait to go again! Time & time again ... this is the best BBQ! Burnt ends, burnt rib ends .. absolutely amazing .. I believe this is the best BBQ in the Treasure Valley!

Stopped in for lunch at Rib Shack and the food and service were awesome! Highly recommend! I told the girl working that it was our first time there and she was incredibly nice and helpful with our food selections. Since I picked the pulled pork she told me the NC sauce goes the best with it and she was right. She even came over after our food was delivered to make sure I had the right sauce to try, and when it wasn't at the table, she specifically went to the back to grab it.
