First time we have order we live 4 miles away and it come hotter the Wotton British takeaway very satisfied with the quality off the food

A gem of an eatery! Such a breath of fresh air to see a top class modern, bright, spotless fish and chip shop/cafe thats Situated in a picturesque town.
The staff were very attentive and service was amazing. As for our fish and chips, they were cooked to perfection, fresh and light crispy batter, gorgeous thick cut chips, topped with a side of mushy peas and curry sauce...they definitely know what they're doing and it shows....none of that greasy stodge served here!
To follow we had delicious freshly cooked pancakes with Nutella, banana and ice-cream, absolutely lush!
Absolutely would recommend,

Always enjoy our visits here. Food is good and the owner's and their staff are friendly nothing is to much trouble. This location benefits from not only being a fish and chip shop but also a cafe as well.
Recommend a visit here. Toilet seat loose on last 3 visits over a 6 month period. Light not working in the toilet on 2 visits over 3 months. Otherwise, clean and well stocked.

Great food, great portions and price is worth the quality and portion size. Staff are always friendly and smiling which makes a significant difference to some of the places I've been to. Highly recommend even if you're just passing through this little town.

The best fish I have had for a very long time. Crispy batter, fresh cod, cooked just right so was creamy and flaky.
The staff so friendly and helpful too.
Inside seating is utilitarian but has outside tables so you can relax and watch the world go by.

Great fish and chips, enjoyed in the sunshine at an outside table. The staff were friendly and attentive. They gave our dog a chip shop treat.

Had an amazing lunch here. Child's cod bites and chips was enough for an adult but also had a delicious baguette with bacon & avocado. Both excellent meals

Outstanding chip shop in every way possible in our opinion. Everything from the excellent customer service, friendly staff & owners, inside decor and seating arrangements, top quality food & drinks, generous portions, good town centre location and customer car parking at the rear. Have been to chip shops the length and breadth of the UK and this one is perhaps the best one of the lot from the overall experience. I highly recommend this place!

Stopped by here for some lunch with a couple of friends whilst in the area. Food selection is OK but a bit quirky that may put some people off but there was something all of us would eat. The pancakes and Bacon that I had were fresh and reasonably sized.
