Golden Krust

I like this restaurant a lot. I’ve been three times, I’ve gotten a curry chicken lunch special, jerk chicken small plate, a spicy beef patty, a pineapple ginger drink, and had some lemon cake. All good that I have gotten so far has been flavorful, a little overpriced maybe, but it’s all been good. The cashier and the people who have served the food have been professional and kind . The plates and the lunch special all have rice and plantains or cabbage with the main meat. I like the plantains a lot, they have flavor and are sweet. The lunch special with a spicy beef patty will run you for 12, which I would say is a good price for the good food that you get. Very nice restaurant.

My coworker picked up food for me today after smelling someone else’s lunch in the office. I ordered 2x mild beef patties, the curry chicken lunch special and a side of plantains. The lunch special came with rice, veggies and 1 plantain. However I love plantains and snack on them during the day. So first things first. I devoured the beef patties. There were so good and the crust was flakey. Oh perfect! I tasted the other items and they were all delicious. However I was full from the patties so the rest of the food will be my dinner for tonight. Since my food was delivered to me I would like to check the actual restaurant out.

This place is an authentic and true Jamaican restaurant. The oxtails here are the best tasting with true rich flavored broth. I love the food and the service here is exceptional. The beef patties are to die for, almost makes you think your back on the island having dinner. The restaurant is very clean and the food again is amazing along with the service and great prices makes this a recommended place to have lunch or dinner.
