Off The Hook

Very good food from a tiny bar, there may be six seats in total inside and half of those at the bar, so unless the weather is nice and you can sit outside it’s more of a takeout place. That being said they have a nice menu with some great dishes. The walleye fingers basket (only served two days a week Wednesday’s and Sunday’s ( while they last) was delicious. It’s a shame they don’t have a larger establishment because they are better than most of the actual restaurants in the county.

I have been to this place 3 times in the last month. For the first time I'm disappointed that I can't add an extra few stars. This hidden gem has the best seafood I've ever had. It's not even close! Kelly who is one of the owners is one of the chefs and I admire that. Their love and passion radiates throughout this establishment. Lisa is the bartender and she works hard like everyone else and is attentive too! Stop reading this and get in there before it's too late.

Tonight was the second time I have ordered from here and again it was phenomenal. The food is amazing, the seafood tastes fresh, the drinks are amazing, and both times I’ve called for a pickup and the person on the phone is always so kind and so patient and helpful. You will not be disappointed. I’ve got shrimp chowder, walking seafood taco, jumbo shrimp cocktail, I think some kind of shrimp either burrito/enchilada thing, a Bloody Mary and this phenomenal blueberry pomegranate margarita (I called and asked if they had yummy frozen alcoholic beverages and they mentioned this delicious drink!). The food is so good, service is so great, and fast, and they constantly have phenomenal mouth watering specials they share on Facebook in addition to an awesome menu. I WILL be ordering again. And again!
