Went in for lunch. The lady thart brought us salsa never spoke just set the chips and salsa on the table and walked off. We were trying to decide what we wanted and poured some salsa it was so salty I couldn't eat it. Thank goodness we hadn't ordered. Chips had no flavor. We ask for to go cups it was $6.50 for 2 drinks. Would not recommend.

This is one of the few decent, true dine-in restaurants in Dumas. The simplest dishes (hard-shell tacos, enchiladas, refried beans are average to above average, but the fancier, more complex dishes such as the street tacos, the chicken and shrimp dinner, the menudo, caldo de res, caldo de mariscos, etc are all excellent. The staff is very hard working and attentive to your needs and are all quite professional. I go there frequently and the staff all know me and they all know which is my favorite booth and what I normally drink. I am not a local and moved here in 2019. Before that I lived in northwest New Mexico for eight years and in South Texas for fourteen, so I am well familiar with the varieties of good Mexican dishes found in the US. This is an excellent restaurant that would do well in a much larger city. I recommend El Toro highly. --Phil Slattery, Publisher, The Chamber Magazine
