Hideaway Cafe

First time visiting this quaint little cafe, that's tucked away out of sight as the name would tell. I had the large breakfast as a treat today and what a treat it was. The food was freshly cooked, warm and delicious as a traditional full English comes, with a lovely pot of tea to complement it, and as you can see from the picture I cleaned the plate. The staff are lovely, inviting and obviously care about the standards and quality of the cafe. This is an instant recommendation to anyone in the area wanting affordable, quality food, drink and freshly baked desserts and treats.

Very friendly and welcoming local cafe within the Leap Dudley premises. Fresh-made hot and cold sandwiches, jacket potatoes, freshly baked homemade cakes etc. available. I had a fantastic Full English breakfast there, also freshly cooked, along with one of the best hot chocolates I had recently. Excellent value for money!! I highly recommend it.

Food is second to none. One customer having an afternoon tea said that she had been to the Ritz for afternoon tea but this was better. I have never been to the Ritz but I can say that the quality of the food was excellent. Going back again tomorrow with family for afternoon tea celebrating moms birthday.

Visited cafe on Friday 1st March, nice, clean and tidy nothing like a greasy spoon. Ordered the medium breakfast and asked what spread they put on the toast and explained that I'm lactose intollerent, not a problem gave me a few options of what I could have on my toast nothing was to much trouble as for the breakfast it's probably the best breakfast I've ever had in a café, proper fresh home cooked breakfast not greasy like you get in most places and you get good sized portion. Nice friendly staff with a friendly atmosphere.
