Cravings

Food was excellent, I had the brisket sandwich. Sat outside and the flies were bad. They have fans mounted in their outside seating area but they were not turned on and looked disgusting. We ate late afternoon so it was still lunch and the menu was limited, this is a triple D joint but the scallops Guy ate are only available on the dinner menu. (we ate here a few years ago for dinner and I had the scallops, also excellent!).

The coconut shrimp is delicious with the mango salsa. The crabcake sandwich was decent. This restaurant is gluten conscious and crab cake is made with almond and rice flour. There is a lot of crab in the crab cake. The flavor of the crabcake is decent but the texture is slightly on the mushy side. But all in all this restaurant is decent and the outdoor seating is nice. There are quite a few gluten-free dessert options.

BEST RESTAURANT IN DUCK NC!! I am so impressed by this establishment, and there are so many things I need to highlight. I have come here for breakfast, lunch & dinner many times over the years and have never had a single bad experience. The breakfast is fast, efficient and tasty offering the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! The pulled pork, ham & bacon. Dinner time is when this place really steps it up offering elegant, well plated and tasty dishes. Anything you want they will have, seafood, steak, chicken, veggie options lots of different sides and more! The nightlife here is something you need to experience yourself…located in the back of restaurant/gas station is a bar called the Tap Shack. Offering many different cocktails, beer & more. They have an amazing venue that offers spacious seating & live music! So much fun it really is one of the best experiences you can have in Duck NC. Lastly I want to shout out every single staff member from the owner, managers and employees you are doing an outstanding job and have create an environment so successful and enjoyable I can’t imagine myself not coming here during my time in Duck. Never change anything you guys are doing outstanding and I thank you so much for helping create memories I’ll never forget.
