Hands down the best hot dogs & chili cheese fries! They also make their own fruit drinks and they are delicious!

Latest visit was to Dover Grill which based on its name is in fact located in Dover on Route 46. Can honestly say I've passed this spot countless number of times and have never bothered stopping in until recently.
With a good choice of dogs to order from, picking was not easy but ended up ordering a chili dog with onions and a hot onion dog with a small side of fries. Came in after the typical lunch rush and was able to grab a stool inside. While some reviewers may say the place is dated, I will say the place is nostalgic and made for a great lunch atmosphere. The Hot dogs were tasty and the krinkle cut fries were served hot.
Bummed that I've passed by so many times and never bothered stopping in. Will definitely add them to the rotation. Was prompted to stop in prior to them closing for the season. The good news is they are open for another month and close up on November 23 and will reopen in March 2024..
Take a peak at the menu, pretty sure it will accommodate most of your cravings...

I’ve been going here ever since I was a little kid, it’s always been sort of a tradition in my family to go there and Dover dairy when you guys open up. My family and I love it here. Great food, plenty off options and amazing ice cream at Dover dairy

I have been coming to the Dover Grill for decades! My old hometown favorite and it never disappoints. Small family owned business (along with Dover Dairy Maid next door) that has a great menu selection!

There were six of us pretty big order. Came out fast and most of all correctly. Food was good.

An old time outdoor hot dog & ice cream stand right in the middle of Dover. Both the burgers and dogs are excellent; fresh and grilled perfectly - much better quality than any fast food chain, but the soft ice cream, while still good, is sometimes a little too soft and maybe too airy? (Could be just my personal preference with soft ice cream.)

My kids really enjoy the food here, mainly the burgers and dogs. Always hot & delicious food. I like that they offer all beef hot dogs too!
My son is going to the Kubert Art school down the street from Dover grill, so we go there often. He loves a bacon cheeseburger and always a shake too!
I think he'd eat there every day if he could. Lol
My daughter enjoys the mac-n-cheese bites!

The Frank N Beans and a cheeseburger slider. What a great spot for a quick bite to eat. The staff at the counter are very friendly and the kitchen prepared our food quickly. It took less than 5 minutes. Everything was reasonably priced. Will certainly recommend.
