Popped in on off chance as on holiday in the area. There was a wake on but were welcomed by the staff and excellent service on the food. Thank you for being so welcoming staff and locals.

The beer's good, and the food!!!, I had the pork crumble with chips & peas, followed by the apple & gooseberry crumble with custard and it was the best meal I've ever had at this pub. There was so much pork in the crumble, it was lovely and the dessert, best crumble I've had in a pub, in a long time.

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday. Really friendly quick service, great value for money. Old fashioned pub and seemed to be bustling with locals which is great. Decent range of options on the menu all reasonably priced.

Had a christening celebration held here for 30+ people. Well looked after by the team, great hot buffet laid on and desserts. Sophie cut the cake perfectly for us. It's what you might call old school but there's nothing wrong with that at all, as it was delicious.

Fantastic buffet today for a family event, lovely variety of food and gorgeous deserts, constant flow of tea and coffee, really friendly, absolutely first class and very good value. Thank you so much.
