The food was average for the price. The hushpuppies were nice but if you're going to put stuff in them dont make it just a hint of what you're going for..Go all out. The honey butter was nice but I'm not sure it paired well with the hushpuppies it could just be me. The salad was nice with the bacon. Ordered Oysters as an appetizer, but they came out almost simultaneously with our meal so there was overcrowding of the table and it was hard to manage it all till we slurped them down. Maybe they need a refresher course in shucking. Oysters on the halfshell just tasted and seemed bland. Fried oysters may have been overfried and nothing to brag about. Red beans and rice was nice and tasty but different from traditional. The shrimp was tasty. For the price, I'm not sure I would go back. The only thing that was amazing was the service. Our waitress did an AMAZING job. She knew all the answers, and was very attentive. I'd give her 5stars all day! Thanks for that!

Delightfully tacky, great food. Didn't get a steak as I was intending to, but made a BIG meal out of the appetizer sampler platter (included cheese sticks, cheese curds, about a dozen fried oysters, a skewer of shrimp and fried pickles, $22), a shrimp & crab ravioli ($10), a full pound of Snow Crab legs ($20), and a couple brews. They brought out some deliscious hush puppies with a very nice honey/butter. All the food was prepared perfectly. Wife was a little sensitive to some of the spice, but she still loved it. I think it was the marinara that had the spice(Ravioli and sampler platter came with the Marinara,) although for me (I love heat), didn't even notice it had any noticeable spice. I was also surprised to see such a crowd for a Thursday evening. A variety of folks from seniors to 20 somethings, and a few teens. Probably not the best place to take a very young family. Nothing on tap for brews, but a few of my bottled favorites, as well as a small selection of wines, whiskeys, vodkas. Overall, a fun and tasty experience that didn't have me feel like I had to drain the bank account. Will definitely be back, especially on special occasions.

When we first walked in I was a little nervous because there was a musty smell, and the place seemed to be a little run down. The lady took our order and brought us some hush puppies, they were either left in the fryer too long or refried. Wasn't to pleasant! It did take an absorbent amount of time for our food to come out. My husband got a steak and I got the fish and chips. They were amazing! Cooked perfectly and tasted delicious!

Ok, so I'm from out of town. I asked my hotel where to get some great food and they told me to come here. Started out with some hush puppies and honey butter. Killer good. Then I had some red beans and rice...some of the best I've had. Finished up with some crab stuffed ravioli that was very tasty. Kinda bummed though, no room for the strawberry shortcake. The decor was lacking but it is a casual place. The staff was awesome and the food was great. So I still give it five stars. Great job chef!!!
