Popped along this evening for a friend's birthday and was blown away by the quality of the food, absolutely stunning. Plenty of choice. It's rare for everyone to enjoy all their meals at a pub/restaurant. Staff were great. Thank you.

Despite the need for a bit of a tidy up and some fresh paint, the Crown Inn provides delicious food and a comfortable dining area. We booked the day before, as we were travelling back from Stroud, to the New Forest, so we wanted to stop off in Devizes for Sunday lunch. The Crown Inn did not disappoint. We selected the ‘small roast’ and it was plenty large enough for us. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

So lovely to see this pub open again and the landlord couldn't be nicer, very down to earth. The food is lovely ...fab vegan roast ! Def reccomend this place x

Great meals here this week. The starter of nachos made a great first course! Fantasy radio put on an evening with live music and a poet. A great venue. Very large and versatile.

Just perfect. Don't be put off by the outside needing a lick of paint. The food was lovely and Wadworth 6x wonderful. Inside the eating area is huge yet manages to retain a friendly cosy feel. The service was fantastic, with the staff almost instinctively knowing when a second pint of 6x was required! Pudding - treacle sponge - was superb. A perfect end to a hard day coming up the Caen flight! Would throughly recommend a visit! 👍👍👍👍👍

Went for a couple of drinks on a Saturday evening around 8 pm. A good flow of customers (men and women).
Loads of space, including outside.
Great range of Wadworth beers, including Swordfish in July (normally a winter drink, apparently).
Looked to be a new landlord as he was on-edge making sure his customers were all being well attended to. Bar staff were unphased though, friendly, efficient and helpful.

We had a wonderful experience at The Crown. We booked a table for 8 to celebrate a family gathering. Everything was set up perfectly. We needed wheelchair access so the position of our table was important. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the wait staff were lovely and the food was delicious 😋. We had a slight wait for our meals but were so impressed to all be served at the same time. We met the chief chef afterwards which was a real treat. Well done The Crown and good luck moving forward. We highly recommend you 👌

Called in for a drink last week, saw the food going to other tables and we booked for lunch on the following Monday. It is good to know we can eat out on a Monday, as most places close Mondays.
We thoroughly enjoyed it. Food piping hot and plentiful.
I am Gluten Free and the menu is marked g/f. I didn't have to ask "what's g/f" They also stock Wadworth 6X Gold g/f beer, so I can enjoy a cold beer.
Staff very friendly.
We are coming back for a Sunday lunch.

We visited completely by chance, we were stuck in traffic in Devizes, as per, and decided to stop and relax for an hour instead of sitting steaming in the car.
It was Tuesday about 5pm so understandably quiet. Service was excellent, prices reasonable and we had no trouble finding a comfy table. There is a very large outdoor area. A good selection of drinks.
I think the pub has had a makeover recently.
We are not local but would happily recommend.
