Fuel Cafe

Wow! Went here for the first time today as part of a industry wine tasting, being the owner of Village West Liquor. I live just about a mile away but never heard of this place. It's not in a noticeable location, and I doubt I would ever stumble upon this restaurant. As for the food - OUTSTANDING! Excellent taste and excellent pairing with the Zuccardi wines. While I'm not a dessert fan, the chocolate dish was pleasantly bitter and satisfying. Awesome that they resisted the temptation to add excessive sugar. I also has the pleasure of meeting the owner/chef Bob. He truly seems like a guy who has a passion...and it shows. I will definitely be back and I wish others would check out this kinda isolated location.

Caught brunch at Fuel while in Denver on vacation... I'm almost 500 miles away now and its been 3 days but all I can think about is their Eggs Benedict. I never write reviews about anything but this was hands down, the best meal I’ve ever eaten!!! I am certainly going to work in another visit while I’m visiting next time!!!!

Stopped here during a trip to Colorado, about the time it was finally nice enough to sit outside on a patio and enjoy myself. I'd never had green chile before coming to Colorado --- had no idea it was so popular here. But I can see why after having the green chile tacos here. They were among some of the best I've ever had (and some of the few I've had completely sober). The green chile brings so much to this, both spicy and sweet. It was a new experience for sure. Also had the combination cookie for desert which was an oatmeal cookie with walnuts and chocolate chips. Sure it's nothing spectacular but it was delicious in itself.
