Such good authentic Italian food. You get fed like you're at Nonna's house! You won't leave hungry.
The arancini were so crispy outside and gooey inside, the slow cooked short rib of beef just fell off the bone and the traditional tiramisu was as indulgent as you expect!

Wow! The most delicious pasta ever! Could not recommend enough- great value as well. I could eat here every day for the rest of my life. It surpassed the hype- amazing !

Love the food at Ornella's. The pasta dishes were at least good, if not excellent or extra special.
All the pasta was cooked al dente. The autumn menu had a wild fennel and anchovy parpadelle which was really special. The carbonara with pistachio was also very good.
The burrata was super creamy and came on top of a seasonally-appropriate layer of roast butternut squash. Really delicious.
The desserts were phenomenal. The best item was the pistachio profiteroles. The choux pastry was crisp and the pistachio sauce was heavenly.
Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.
It's a shame that we live a bit far away, or we'd be visiting Ornella's weekly! (Maybe it's good news for the wasitline)
Please note that Booking is essential for weekends and every evening. Don't even try to walk in - they are fully booked for weeks in advance.

The food was amazing so fresh and tasty, loved the Arancini starter, the minty lamb ragu and the Carbonara Al Pistaccio were my favourites, the staff were friendly and very helpful. We finished off the meal with a glass of pino Blush and a Cannoli perfect!!! The bill was unexpected so reasonably priced for such lovely food. Can't wait to come again and try the other dishes

Absolutely brilliant food. Best Italian restaurant in Greater Manchester by a distance. The tortellini and ravioli are beautifully handmade and the sauces are authentic as they come. Haven't enjoyed an Italian meal like this since my last trip to Bologna. Bravo team Ornella's Kitchen. 🪄🤌

Nice chilled atmosphere. Friendly service. Amazing pasta dishes and incredible value bearing in mind the quality. Just one thing to improve it would be comfier seating. The benches are a bit high. But would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

We went to Ornella's to in Denton, the atmosphere was so cosy and imtimate as its so small but it was fantastic, the service was excellent, is was almost like we just thought about asking for something and they were there ready to assist. I had the creamy pork sausage pappardelle with crispy shallots and chilli flakes...sounds amazing? Well, let me assure you it's mouth watering, not to be missed. If you are thinking of going (and i recommend you do), make sure you book and don't just turn up cause you won't get a table. Enjoy.

The food here is wonderful, really tasty and great portions (even the smaller plates). Really good pricing too which is getting harder to find recently! I would recommend this place to any pasta-lover. Definitely requires a reservation in advance. Be aware that it is a small restaurant so is more suited to couples/singles than large groups (but has a lovely atmosphere as a result). Service was excellent and staff were friendly.

One of my favourite Italian restaurants in Manchester
Not the best location for non drivers but definitely worth a try if you are nearby
The carbonara was cooked to perfection, unlike the usual one with spaghetti, it comes with bucatini which makes it special, guanciale is crispy and whole dish is delicious 🤤
If you're there for brunch I'd recommend the potato bun, I wish I could buy a pack of them alone, moist and soft buns are irresistible.
Keep up the good food!! I'll be back :)

WOW. Can honestly say that this is by FAR the best Italian I’ve ever had, and most certainly the best food I’ve had in all of Manchester. Incredible flavours, great menu, fabulous prices and a really lovely intimate setting. Truly cannot recommend it enough.
