Very busy and fun. We ate breakfast here all three days we were visiting the Cape. The food was great and the service was top notch. I have never seen such an extensive breakfast menu, and they post many more specials on top of that. If I lived on the Cape, I might eat breakfast here every day.

Always good food, great muffins to take home too. Usually great service. Especially at the counter when we don’t want to wait for a table. This time the “Gentleman” who served us and we asked him a question before being seated he didn’t seem as pleasant or concerned. Though I’m not judging the whole on a personal issue of one person-who knows what he was going through too.

Stepping into Grumpy's for the first time feels like stepping into a diner I've eaten at all my life. The service was incredible and the food was delicious.

I have been eating at Grumpy's since I was 10. I am now in my 40's and still make it a point when I visit my parents on the Cape to eat at Grumpy's. Great food, responsible priced, relaxing atmosphere. A place to visit while on the Cape.

If i could split stars i would give 4.5 for food. Fresh and well prepared but not fantastic. Most portions i saw were larger than normal so more plates had food left over than normal. Perfect for big eaters.

I eat at this please probably four days a week ….. solid place to have breakfast ….. only complaint is they serve eggs on cold plates! wouldn’t take that much effort to warm a plate before you put an egg on it!

Food is really good diner food. Not greasy, fresh, hot and quick. They get people in and out of that place. GET THE BEANS. I’m telling you, best beans ever.
Service I think is good diner service. Was the waitress grumpy at times? Yes. But did she get our entire order correct including bringing milk with the meal? Also yes. I would rather have a competent and efficient waitress than a chatty waitress who messes up my order.
Ambiance is low because the place needs a renovation. It just feels old and dingy. It’s been like this since I was very young and can remember coming here which is more than 15 years ago. But the tables are clean and everything is clean. It could just use some sprucing up.
All in all will continue coming to Grumpy’s :)

It was fun, but the 45 minute outside wait while thunder was approaching to get seated - not so much.

Fantastic food and service here, but I’d never come back during high season. It was a long half hour wait, but our food was exceptionally delicious. The homemade corned beef hash is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The seafood eggs Benedict was outstanding.
Our waitress was excellent, even though she was serving tables all over the room. Now I see why people rave about this place.

We had fantastic luck at Grumpy’s in Dennis this weekend. We were given the option of sitting at the bar, and were pulled out of line and given immediate service. The total amount of time we were there was an hour.
The food was good, albeit standard diner fare. Our service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was nice. You should anticipate waiting to get in, however your meal will be quickly prepared.
