Nice little fusian taco restaurant/bar - obviously I don't know how to describe it! But the margaritas were generous, the guac was solid and the tacos were eclectic and yummy. The ceviche was just ok though. My friend ordered a chimichanga and it was enormous! They were able to seat our party of 9 all in one booth. Also, try the sauces on the table, the mango was delicious!

This is a small place, but it is very cozy. I really enjoy the pork tacos, they're delicious! You can always have a good time here even with people you don't even know. Staff as well as patrons and new visitors are welcoming and friendly. Place has always been clean, good food, and great staff. There is parking everywhere in downtown, on the street as well as public parking out back. The above review was from a year ago this is from today 10/07/2020... I just love going to this place, they never disappoint us. We sat outside, it was a beautiful evening to do this. I had the taco salad with steak, it was delicious. The steak was tasty and tender and there was plenty of salad to go around. He had the meatloaf with corn on the cobb...guys, that corn was great!!

The restaurant isn't an authentic Mexican restaurant. I would try the tacos as they are always very tasty and the rice is really delicious. I will say the bartender made our evening. She was so bubbly, down to earth and a lovely young lady. She gets 5 Stars. 16 West is a fun friendly gathering place, try it out 👍

Quaint restaurant with delicious food for date night. The bar/restaurant is small, but with a cozy feel. We enjoyed drinks and dinner at the bar while listening to locals talk to the bartenders like old friends. The chicken burrito was the Best burrito I have ever had. Their Mexican menu was simple, but contained everything we wanted in a Mexican menu. They also offered non-traditional Mexican items, like the bison burger that was one of the specials. Definitely will be going back! Only thing is, I wouldn't want to bring my little kids there. Maybe to eat outside, but the inside gives too much opportunity for them to be too loud and wild and disturb the whole restaurant.

To start they charge for chips and salsa. Seriously? Service is so slow you can finish your beer before your food shows up. Tacos were greasy and enchiladas were tasteless. We visited midweek and had high hopes. We were disappointed. As someone who grew up in South Texas, I crave good SW fare. They put red cabbage on everything. WTF? Cabbage only grows in cold places and has no place in SW food but they think it goes with everything! Will not be returning
