Denny's

My server Jamie was great. She was very informative of the menu and even showed us some great recommendations for appetizers. We explained how we just came from fishing and she made sure we got our beverages in great timing. Bathrooms were very clean when we went to go wash our hands before eating. Also noticed a employee staying attentive to them and making sure they were clean and up to date. Great staff as well. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and sat right away. My wife and I shared the Cookie dessert with ice cream and it was amazing and the middle was melted the right way. Highly recommend this dennys to anyone in the area or just driving by to get something to eat.

We thought to give this Denny's another shot and I tell you, it's changed! From what I understand Larry is the new manager and from what we experienced, it was night and day from the last time we went. Dory was our waitress and she was attentive, super nice and on top of everything! I had the eggs Benedict and it was pretty good! My family enjoyed their meals as well ....aaaaaand we didn't wait an hour for food like we did last time! We'll be back!

So we went here on 03/06/2022 right after church. It was also Bike Week, so there were quite a few people in the restaurant. My wife and I have worked in food service before, so we could tell that there were far more customers than staff available. We went in knowing that and were patient about the potential wait and possibility of some items not being available. Our server was fantastic; not only was she very friendly, but she consistently checked on our cups to make sure our drinks were refilled. The food came out great (compliments to the cooks), and management also asked us how everything was at the end. I'm giving this Denny's location 5 stars, mostly because despite them being frazzled and the orders taking just a little longer than normal, the staff powered through and still made sure everything was great. The most unfortunate part were some other customers yelling at the staff for taking too long; it was unnecessary, given the circumstances. And still, all of the employees were very friendly. I ask anyone reading this who is not patient with waiting, to please be patient with food service staff, especially when there is either a staffing shortage or busy events going on in the area. The staff are humans, too, and while it can be a little tough to wait a bit longer than normal, showing some patience goes a long way in keeping their morale boosted.
