Great B&B. Always stay here if I can as the owner is so great. The value for money is excellent and the breakfast is big enough to keep you going all day. Always loads of tea and coffee's in the room and they are always clean and comfortable. Definitely one to try out if your in the area.
Exquisite little B and B in Darlo. Handy for hospital and a short walk to town. Rooms lovely comfortable classic. Breakfast is a very sophisticated affair: tasty food, dining table beautifully laid out. Staff great: friendly happy people (loved the child labour helping out).
Great location, friendly host although we didn't make it to breakfast! Rooms are nice and clean, I wouldn't stay here again though as our room had sky lights which didn't have any cover. So in summer that is a very early wake up call!

I didn't actually stay, but needed an option for the hospital. The proprietor could not have been more helpful, pencilling in a room whilst we awaited news from the hospital. I didn't need the room in the end, but he couldn't have been more helpful in an hour of need. Thank you, sir.
Excellent stay and sleep 100% recommend this B&B. Friendly welcome by the owner who offered to help with bags and showed us where to park. Guided tour of the house followed and we felt right at home. …
