We've always had good service here, and the donuts - especially the apple fritters - are amazing. There is a review here from a year ago with just 1 star from a person named Rivers. Please ignore that. The person misread the receipt. The first total shown is the TAXABLE sub-total. When you add that, the tax, and the tax-free amounts together the total is correct. A bad review and accusation that I hope the reviewer will correct.

Bought dozens of donuts here multiple times and the front lady is always polite. I also see presumably the owner in the background making the donuts fresh and it seems like most of the time in the early hours I see just two people working. Definitely love the complimentary donut holes!

Daylight Doughnuts is one of my two go to places for DOUGHNUTS of course. I like going there as it's close to where I live. Plus not too far from the local University. The staff is friendly and helpful. When ever I've gone in the store it's always well lit. Clean and quiet. they have a nice selection of pastries as well as hot coffee, milk and soda products ( cold of course) the prices are about par for most pastry shops. So it's worth visiting.
