Food that tastes homey, delivered fast, in a cosy but dated no-frills ambiance. Try the sev chaat and aloo chana tiki for appetizer. Palak paneer, baingan bharta, and dal makhani for entrees. The hara bhara paratha is quite yummy. The staff is nice. You are not paying for ambiance or exceptional service at Chaat House.

One of the best North Indian place to go and have great homely food. The food is beyond comparison to other Indian places. Food: No oil, not much spicy, very very hygienic, feels like home-made food, great taste. They have thali options as well in which they have chhach and tea and both are really good!! Service: The people working there are really kind-hearted and very soft spoken! Prices: The prices are really reasonable for everything. Not at all over priced even though the quality of food is so good. I am a regular customer and it is a definitely to go place for everyone!

Poor service. We had dinner here and the waiter was a bit rude and in a hurry, understandably so since there were more customers in line but we pay for the service as well. Anyways, we order some appetizers to start off with, Chaat and some Samosa. It took a grand total of 40 minutes to come to the table! If we knew the order would take that long, we probably either would have simply left or placed the whole order at once. The food wasn't that great, didn't feel fresh at all, and the ambience wasn't entirely pleasant. We had a corner seat to the right of the entrance which felt a bit congested. Definitely not going here again and would not recommend this place at all. Only gets 2 stars since they were nice to check in every once in a while and weren't as bad as some other places. But seriously, if you're going to run a restaurant, take some pride in it and give customers quality service and food.
