The Lighthouse

Lovely lunch, delicious soup and a scone, with plenty of choices on the menu. Excellent service with smiles and friendly chat. Our first visit following a walk along Fife Coastal Path and we will be back. Loved the knitted cake stand items and lighthouse collection behind the counter. Highly recommend.

This is a coffee shop staffed by volunteers and in addition to serving food it stocks Christian books. The food is lovely, home made soup, toasted sandwiches and baked potatoes or various cakes and scones. It is all home made by the volunteers who serve in the shop. The staff are very friendly, service is good and the food is not only delicious but amazing value. It is quite a small place and there are only about 5 or 6 tables so it can get quite busy but people are usually happy to share a table and will sit and chat to you, if you so wish. It is a friendly atmosphere and the lentil soup is really good, served with a couple of pieces of bread and followed by a toasted sandwich with some salad for under £5, you can't go wrong.
