Crepes & Cones

I and three friends visited Crepes&Cones on Sunday 20th November unintentionally. My friends and I had planned to dine elsewhere, which was fully booked. Crepes&Cones was on our list of places to dine at in the near future, it was relatively close to the fully booked restaurant we didn’t wait for, so took a chance going to Crepes&Cones. Despite a couple of reviews saying service was slow and waiting time very long we gave it ago and so glad we did. Service was excellent and waiting time was minimal to be fair it wasn't busy, a large group came after us and a few more people later on. We had an amazing meal with generous portions. We started off with the red velvet prawns, absolutely delicious in addition to the roulette of wings, tasty. Main course didn’t disappoint, once again generous potion and delectable. Service was excellent. We were served by a young lady named Olivia, she deserves 5 stars for being attentive and hardworking, she made us feel welcome, Olivia made sure we were ok. Definitely would recommend and hope to visit again.

I'm late to the party!!!!! only just found this place and it's on my doorstep!! I've now been 3 times in a matter of weeks and have enjoyed every visit.... well, honestly, I've enjoyed the food so much....my go to..... is loaded fries, MAC&CHEESE....OMG Wicked! and the Prawns with Mango, they just melt in my mouth. and to top it all.......Portions sizes are great value for money. Service can be a tab slow, but I've been to The IVY, and it was slow too.!!!

Date night here was so much fun. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a good time. From the music to the food and cannot forget the drinks. Who knew that a drink without alcohol could taste so good? I honestly can’t recommend it enough. We couldn’t fault anything from the staff to the food. It was all on point. Everyone always had a smile on their faces. So happy you have come back with a bang.

We had a fresh waffle and a Belgium waffle. They were really sweet, actually a bit too sweet as I'm not so used to that much sugar... I gave 4 stars because I was told they can't offer us tap water, but everyone around us do get offered water. No idea whether that was because we only came for waffles not for main courses, but technically I don't see that as a reason (given the sweetness as well). Also waitresses seems really occupied and tired on a Sunday afternoon and wasn't too attentive. Would still revisit but appreciate some improvements.

This place has had a unjustifiable reviews since before it opened. Being local to the area it was a few months till getting to eat due to the popularity of owners but people keep forgetting that awful restaurants like Jamie Olivers brand still exists and the food and the service is awful there. The service staff consists of mainly young local people as they wanted to give young people a platform to learn the industry but sometimes it's apparent the lack of management around to actually steer the ship. Once the confusion at the door was dealt with me and my guest was sat to our table by a very polite young waiter. The service isn't the worst I've had just unorganised, that being said the food was far better this time coming out quickly and I promised finished quickly. I can't help but choose the "don't waste my lime" (Majito) cocktail with chicken and waffles. The food was sooooo much better than the first time that I had to tell the waiter to tell the kitchen. As they where somewhat at the end of the service on a Sunday I decided to order the deep fried Oreos to go home with and I was not disappointed. Reheating in the oven for afew minutes it tastes like the best Oreo doughnut I had lol. I like the food, the simplicity of the menus without it being too overwhelming and the design and feel for the restaurant. I will definitely go again but it's clear that the restaurant needs some work. **Too the restaurant please consider diary alternatives as the milkshakes ain't a option for me :( **

Food was absolutely amazing. Everything that came out was very tasty and portion sizes where ample. Front of house manager was not very friendly though and certain drinks were not available. No cold beer (I was offered a warm one) and no milkshakes. So as you can imagine we were very sceptical about what our first experience at the restaurant was going to be like. Thankfully the kitchen made up for the frosty atmosphere and product unavailability at the front of house. I ordered the beef long rib which tasted amazing and was so tender, I ate every bite. My wife ordered a fried chicken burger which was also beautiful, she ate every bite (and it was massive) my 2 sons shared chicken wings , chips and plantain, they also ate it all. I would like to add that all staff that were encountered where very friendly (except for the manager). Maybe the company should look into getting a more friendly, competent representative as this effected our initial experience. The decor and layout of the restaurant is excellent. WELL DONE TO KREPT AND KONAN. The restaurant in my opinion is a success. I will be eating here again and again!!!

All smiles when we walked in. Pleasant staff. Seated quickly and everything was clean. A great start 👌🏾 Our food arrived in good time and was served hot. Very tasty and cooked well. These honey Hennessy wings are the truth! Everyone was happy with their chosen dishes. The chicken was seasoned well and the hotdog was delicious. The portions were enough to satisfy my hunger. The Red Berry Ciroc slushy was awesome! The atmosphere was great and the decor was thought out. Interesting paintings are on the wall and there is even a bus stop with seats for guest as their table is being prepared. This restaurant has worked hard to create a great experience and I definitely will be recommending it to my family and friends.

Delicious food and great atmosphere- our waiter (slim black boy with big glasses) was amazing! Should have got his name. 'Tell em don't waste my time' when it comes to how long it took to receive our order though! (only when it started to get busier) Otherwise really good concept and will visit again #CroydonisfarfromNorthLondon

Great Place! We where visiting and some one told us about this Place. We did not have reservations. We did not have to wait long for a table. Food was great and Staff very friendly. Thank you to the Manager ( Andrew). He was sweet and gave us some tips about other things to do while traveling. We really enjoyed there desserts. One is mine... waffles with chocolate & vanilla ice cream, shaved chocolate, and strawberries. The other one is my Husband's ... Banoffee waffles... waffles, banana, toffee/caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream.
