Grabbed hot chocolates & tea at the start of our dog walk today, then went back for lunch. Food was lovely, very reasonably priced too, and my daughter rates the hot chocolate as the best she’s ever had! Highly recommended.

I visited this place today for the first time. I’ve ordered chicken and bacon sandwich with salad. I’m pretty sure it was the best sandwich I’ve had in England. Very good portion, not greasy and addition of spring onions is great. Absolutely recommend and will visit again soon!

For those of us with dogs who can't visit the walled garden cafe this is a welcome addition to Tilgate Park when walking around the lake. The only downside is that the seating isn't covered if it's raining. The food is really good value and the service is friendly. We'll definitely stop here again.

I've been a customer of The Lakeside since it opened. My preference is a bacon bap and hot chocolate although I've had other foodstuffs. So tasty. What else can I say. Friendly, efficient service from Andy and the team. It should be noted that each item is cooked to order and you may experience some small delay but it is great food not fast food. Definitely worth the (small) wait. It's clean, tasty food, lovely drinks, the type you'd make for yourself, great service, friendly people, great banter or conversation whichever you prefer, and reasonable prices. They are dog friendly putting out water and giving the occasional treat. They also sell bird food but I haven't purchased any yet. What more could you want? Get yourself down there and experience it for yourself. You won't be disappointed 😁

Always had fantastic service here each and everytime I visit. Today we had 3 cuppacinos and a tea, prepared by the owner as usual with some banter and a smile. Such a friendly bunch and always a pleasure to pop into Tilgate Lakeside Cafe. I have also eaten here a few times and everytime it's been banging. Great service, fab coffee and wonderful location to go with it. 👍🏾
