Steak 'n Shake

I have always had a good experience eating at Steak ‘n Shake. However, I am very disappointed in Steak ‘n Shake on Pinnacle. I ordered a #1, #3 and a large order of onion rings. I received my order and then realized that the onion rings were not in the bag. No biggie. I went inside and they gave me a hot order of onions rings. Which was great. Then, when we got home my daughter opened her #3 meal which is supposed to be a Fresco Melt. She got slop on slop. I’ve attached a picture of what she received. 2 pieces of bread saturated in sauce, not toasted, slopped together, smooshed meat, and crusty cheese! Completely disgusting! And, no, I didn’t got back to the store for another. At this point we were both sick to our stomachs. Get it together Steak ‘n Shake!

Rude staff that rushed us. It was my husband's 1st time at a steak and shake and we were going over the menu. They switched our sweet server for a manager that was super rude. She said and I quote, "Our menu isn't that big honey". We hadn't been in there more than 5 minutes. I was really craving the cheese fries and I don't even want to go through drive through because they were so rude. Who knows if they'd mess with the food. I'm so sad. This is the only steak and shake I've seen in Louisiana. Also it was filthy. Visibly dirty. Inside and outside. Looks shut down and probably should be sadly. Edit...read the reviews. This place is not worth it. I regret not reading the reviews first.

We haven't been to a Steak 'n Shake since the Covid lock downs. This was the place for us to stop while traveling to and from the beaches. We always looked forward to stopping. This time was a major let down. The building is run down, leaking roof in several places. Buckets to catch the leaks. Ladies bathroom had a faucet issue. Men's bathroom had no paper towel dispenser, just holes in the wall where it once was. Only a few tables available for us to sit in a mostly empty building. Food came out quick and the server was nice. Food quality wasn't up to par and not what we were expecting from past experiences. This location needs an overhaul.

I'm used to the long line and if you're a regular you should be too. My only complaint is this establishment really needs to fix the potholes at the entrance. It's a little ridiculous that it hasn't been fixed yet. Otherwise, the food and service is great! Love Dakota at the window, always so sweet.

Very disappointed won't be going back the manager is very rude to the point of upsetting my expecting daughter telling her 😢 we should have used the drive thru if was not going to tip we normally do but was running low on funds this particular day and the size of the meat was really disappointing but that didn't bother me as much as her upsetting my daughter in front of other people. The waitress was Amazing it was the manager that checked us out.

Just purchased a number 7 as a single and a number 10 with two vanilla shakes for $17.49 cents. Worker comes to the window and bring vanilla shakes before bringing food. With nothing but brown stains on the rim of the cup and outside of the cup. When I asked her what that is she said it was from the rubber. I don’t know what rubber she was talking about. So I asked if they could make me another shake as another worker comes to try and clean the outside of the dirty cups. So I proceeded to tell them no, I wanted new shakes made. So here comes I would assume the manager, he tells me they cannot make no shakes but they can clean the outside of the cup and give me a new top. So I tell him no if you gonna give me a dirty cup, who knows what you were gonna do to my food. So I tell him to give me a refund of my $17.49 cents. #willneverreturn

This place had HORRIBLE customer service!! The inside was only accepting cash so I asked if I could get our food in the drive-thru to pay and sit inside and eat. The lady, who was sitting at the counter eating, said “only if you clean up after yourself”. Are you kidding me?!?! Don’t get me wrong, I would clean up after myself anyway. I’m not going to leave food on the table. But ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? So, you can pay with a card in the drive-thru, but not in the dining area. You can get your food and eat in the dining area but only of clean up after yourself. This place was horrible!
