This Wetherspoons is very pleasant,the staff are very friendly and sociable,and helpful if you need something,good mix of different age groups of clientele,young couples,older couples,families and groups of friends,the clientele are as friendly as the staff,lovely and tasty food,good steaks from the grill menu,fantastic breakfasts!wide range of beers and ales,and big choice of gins and other spirits,easy access disabled toilets near end of bar,big outdoor seating areas,with overhead lights which come on at night,worth visiting I would highly recommend!. Lovely to sit outside in the nicer weather,with a good sized seating area,with plants and flowers,and festoon lights overhead. Saturday nights can sometimes be a bit rowdy especially if any sport matches are on tv, as people come from further afield to watch them and they can get quite rowdy, and tipsy, Monday and Wednesday night's seem much quieter.

For a spoons it is one of the better ones near to me. Bar is busy but the bar staff serve quickly. Came in for a cold cider and sat in the sun. I think it would benefit from a bit of a revamp, and some background music. Obviously Wetherspoons don't have music so not much they can do there. As a smoker the smoking area is very small compared to the non smoking outside seating area.
