What a cool spot! You can't miss it, definitely stop. It's a quirky fun place, eat in the bus or out. The smoker was going and it smelled SO GOOD!! They make everything from scratch, even their veggie burgers (yum!) Everything was super fresh and delicious. Smoked pies, homemade soup, tea and lemonade, burgers and sandwiches. The collard greens are super tasty too. It's good to know they have vegetarian options for those that want them. The people were really nice and welcoming. I can't say enough good things, it was a great experience. And unexpected too, which makes for the best times!

WOW was this place good. Doc cooked us up every kind of pork you could imagine and as fresh as you will ever taste. The baked beans were one of a kind and collards top notch. Everything's smoked - even the pies, and it is wonderful. Staff are so kind and friendly. Dogs are treated like kings. You will be so happy you came by!

Docs is a hidden gem! It's, by far, the best food we had during our trip to TN. Everything was fresh and delicious including the veggie burger. My husband said the BBQ was outstanding! The owner and staff were super friendly and treated our dog like royalty. It's evident they care so much about the quality of the food and the customer experience. This place is a must-see! Also, if you like sweets, try the smoked pecan pie! You won't be disappointed.

What a beautiful and delicious experience we had at Docs! The food was INCREDIBLE. We brought our dog in and he was warmly welcomed with a smoked bone, our server was so kind and Doc came out and chatted with us about his delicious cooking. You have to try the smoked pecan pie, but you will not go wrong with anything on that menu! Thank you Docs!

Doc greeted us as we came to the door. He was so nice, and the atmosphere was not only unique but just perfect on a summer day in the mountains. At the time that we dined the bus was full but we didn't mind. Instead, we opted for the porch and it was charming! You'll be so amused with all the knick knacks and signs, you'll almost forget where you are! (Let me reiterate that we loved this place.) I had a black cherry limeade and the three little pigs special. My friend also chose the same special but opted for sweet tea. Let me tell you, Doc makes some of the BEST barbecue I've ever eaten in my entire life. Ribs were tender, the pulled pork was so moist and seasoned perfectly, and the hand made sausage was just PERFECTION. My friend and I shared the smoked cobbler and smoked apple pie. We still talk about it! Don't skip this spot. If you're in the Gatlinburg area and driving through, please make sure you make a pit stop here. It's going to be the highlight of your trip.
