Whataburger

Whatabay! This Whataburger is across the street from the Bay! You can sit upstairs outside and enjoy the beautiful view while you eat a delicious burger! What’s even cooler is the Whataburger founder is from Corpus Christi and this location is one of the originals! It’s huge compared to other Whataburger and def worth a stop if you are a fan!! I came here from Dallas and they did not disappoint!

I can understand why people think Whataburger is better than in-n-out. But to be honest they're in different categories and can't really be compared to each other. But it definitely beats McDonald's, Burger King, Carl's Jr, Jack in the Box, etc. out of the water. This location is a two story restaurant which is dope. The 2nd floor had its own soda fountain station. The food was brought up to the 2nd floor. Got the patty melt which was bomb. The regular Whataburger was a bit sad. The onion rings awesome. Love the spicy and fancy ketchup too. The regular Whataburger wasn't that great just because the structure feels so off. The onions, lettuce and tomatoes were in like half of the burger. And this is my only complaint. I would get the patty melt every time with onion rings and a side of the patty melt sauce if I would eat here again. And I should. The service and staff are really great and friendly. I wish this was everywhere. Compared to sonics it is pretty close too. When sonics has the garlic bacon burger it's hard for me to not love sonics more. And the consistency across every food item at sonics is better than Whataburger. But still the best item at Whataburger comes pretty close to even with the best item at sonics. At that point I can't choose.

This Whataburger is unique in that it is the only 2 story Whataburger ever built. Of course, same great delicious food is served here. If you are visiting from another part of the country and have never tried Whataburger, you MUST stop here before you leave the area. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. I highly recommend this place for your next meal!!
