Cracker Barrel

The dumplings were not done. They were large dough balls. Our chicken was 1 piece about thumb size. Apples and slaw were good. Had to ask 3 times for bread and drink refills. Food was not hot. Only bad time at this location, but it was bad. Had to let a gentleman use the Ladies sink because the men's wasn't working.

Alas, Cracker Barrel doesn't appeal to me like it used to. The food is predictably good and the service is acceptable but the overall experience was average today. The rustic decor is tired and navigating through the store to get to the restaurant is too busy for me. 40 years of sameness makes me want to seek new dining options.

Just left happy & full. Southern Hospitality defined at this restaurant. It was a full house on this Sunday afternoon. But, the staff & efficiency made it enjoyable. We were expecting a long wait for a table, but, was seated right away. Man, they are good here. They were rockstars and had a room full of happy customers. The only hiccup I had was not being able to shop while waiting for a table, which made my hubby happy. We were greeted, served and checked on in such a pleasant way. I will be back next time I am driving through this are. Probably the best managed & staffed Cracker Barrel I have ever been to. Good job!

No wait when we went in.... waited for 10+minutes to order. Waitress kept walking by no even stopping by, finally ordered, food took 20+minutes to come out. The manager had to ask if everything was alright, told her no and what the problem was she just walked away. This isn't the first time this has happened. DONE SUPPORTING CRACKER BARREL!
