Cracker Barrel

Great Home-style Food!! :) I have enjoyed fluffy buttery pancakes & blueberry muffins for breakfast & brunch, the great salads that come w/deviled eggs, and one of their classic dishes; Fried Chicken and I can safely say the food is consistently delicious!! I have yet to be disappointed. You will enjoy...so go ahead & indulge ;)

First time at this restaurant theirs lots of meal choice and if you are in the mood for breakfast anytime this the spot. Cracker barrel serves meals that appeals to those who like the down home and southern. My haddock lightly breaded but was bland. Grilled chicken tenders were light well seasons and the cornbread was dry. Love the fact the different old fashion products such as scented candles and unique clothing a collector's paradise... Did I mention lots of sweet treats sold in their country store. 3 star for the meal!

Let me start by saying my youngest daughter choose to go to Cracker Barrel for her 21st family birthday dinner. Not only did she chose Cracker Barrel we had to move to a different location for our own logistical reasons. She really wanted Cracker Barrel. We were seated fairly quickly for our party (7 adults and one toddler.) The restaurant was clean and mildly busy, for during these times. Our server, Taylor was great. She kept glasses full, the table clean and handled all of our "specific" requests with a smile and conformation. Then it all went to hell. Our proteins, our "mains" came out before the veg, not a problem, that is a lot of plates. But the veg never came out. Taylor went to check several times with no success. The birthday girl ordered a steak - medium. It came out well. No problem, get a new one. It came out when our veggies did, nearly 15 minutes later. I of course asked for the manager. I do not recall her name, (my apologies) but after I explained our situation, she thanked us for coming in and agreed there was no reason for us to have waited like that. She then apologized and walked away. We then boxed up our cool leftovers, hot steak and hot sides to take home. Taylor brought our bills over for us to learn they were each discounted by 50%. The discount was very much appreciated, but heads up.

I ordered heat & serve items for Thanksgiving and we were so pleased! Ordering was easy! Pick-up was less than 10 minutes (unlike other places that were over 2 hours and ran out of food). Everything was packaged in perfect containers and made our dinner that much more enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to include a print-out of the heating directions that can be found on the website.
