Went to listen to a theatre group and sing some songs. Beautiful inside and really good service. We had cocktails, mine been non alcoholic, which were fantastic!

Always can be sure of a delicious, tasty meal 😋 Pay a little more but always well worth it. Wonderful outdoor area where one can dine or can be seated indoors, either upstairs or downstairs, and take in the cosy decor. Staff are always friendly, happy and helpful 😊

The food and service at DV8 never disappoint. It is my granddaughters favourite restaurant in Congleton. We always recommend it to people.
It's so popular that sometimes best to go off peak to be certain of a table. Love the place!

Such a great place, I went today for the first time with my partner and from the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed 🥰 The place has managed to unusually design an atmosphere that is cosy, yet classy. Where the staff are so professional, yet so friendly. As it was our first time, I’m not sure if it is a regular thing, but there was also an amazingly talented acoustic guitarist, playing flowing, relaxing songs. The staff are passionate about dishing out amazing food, and amazing service! If you want to be feel relaxed, calm and fulfilled, this is the place to go to 😊 I can imagine they have a lot of regulars. Thank you 😊🍔🥗🍹🎶🕯️🧡

Nice bar with great food - portions are great for the money. Great options of cocktails, mocktails etc. Chip bowls are great with enormous portions (they do do a smaller size also) with great toppings. Recommend a trip for sure!

New menu so tried the steak Thai salad. It was beautiful. Nice to have a few more healthy options. Kids loved the DV8 beef brisket chips too

Always have a pleasant time in DV8. The atmosphere is nice but always very busy so can struggle to find space to enjoy a drink! The drinks are nice, some are very sweet of you don't have a sweet tooth just to be warned! The food is nice and the service is good on the whole. A bit expensive for what it is which is the only downside, but fairly average for the town.

We were staying in Congleton between Christmas and New Year and was looking for somewhere to have lunch and a drink with our 2 daughters and 2 dogs. We asked if we could come in with the dogs and were shown to the dog friendly area which was so lovely. Really cosy and comfortable.
The atmosphere at this place is really warm and welcoming and the food was amazing!!!
I had the beef sandwich which was one of the best sandwiches I'd ever eaten. My husband had the chilli nachos and they were equally as good. Really generous portions too for the price! The girls wanted sides and cheesy chips which they ate every bit of!
The service was brilliant and everyone including the other customers were very friendly and chatty.
Gutted we don't live closer as I would definitely be a regular customer!

Review. I went into this bar, having been in may times before to enjoy a drink with my brother, wife and family prior to Christmas. I knew in advance that you are unable to reserve tables so turned up anyway.After taking a table in the courtyard as table inside became free and so we went to take it only to be told that there was a queue for the table and that we could not take it and subsequently lot out table outside. When questioned on the queue and pointing out that the policy is not to be able to book a table the we were told that it was ' in the manager's head'. I do not consider this to be a professional way to run a business and will not go back there again

Great place to eat. I have eaten there many times, the food has always been fantastic. DV8 is always busy, that many people can't be wrong!

I read the last review and can only say the opposite about the bar. the drinks are amazing and defo worth the extra money . the place is small yes but always busy ! says something right there!! I'm a big fan !

Overpriced. This is a quaint little bar, but it is seriously overpriced on drinks. There is not enough staff on and the manager has a serious arrogant attitude. You will pay twice the price for drinks here then anywhere else in congleton and the ambience of the bar is not great either , way to small .
