Spare Rib

Everything you order in the spare rib is a great value. They give you bread ,butter and cornbread when you first sit down. A salad comes with your meal besides a side,.The food is really good. I have not ordered one thing that I did not like there. In fact, one of my complaints is the limited hours.. no lunchtime hours

This was truly an experience family-owned restaurant for over 44 years doing ribs in Garden City New York unfalleable that you would think that you come to New York and have ribs I truly enjoy the atmosphere the food the service and the history behind this establishment is truly unique make sure you get out and visit them and enjoy some of the best ribs and in Garden City New York.

I had not been back to this restaurant in years and was so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the food was. I had fish and it was very fresh and tasty! Vegetables were all fresh and portions were large. Yes, it's still a bit dated as far as decor but the food made up for it and the service was friendly. I will go back very soon!

We were at a funeral nearby and saw The Spare Rib as we drove by on the way home. We love a good rib, so we thought we would give it a try. It was 30 minutes to closing, but everyone was still so nice and friendly. Asked if we wanted to dine in. We opted to take it to go so we didn't keep them after closing time. 15-20 mins later, we were on our way home with the Rib Trio, which is Baby Back Ribs, Spare Ribs and Riblets with Side Salad and Corn. And a side of BBQ Potatoes. We got back to NJ, and the food was still warm! The bbq sauce is amazing! We would have liked the ribs to be more tender (fall off the bone), but not a huge deal. We were expecting potatoes covered in BBQ sauce, but there was no sauce, lol. Still, hubby liked it's smokeless. Next time we are in the area, we will try to dine in.

My parents come here all the time. The waitresses treat them really well. The food is always good when I've gone. They have gluten free options which is great. They're specials are always delicious and the portion sizes are huge. We brought our baby and she made a mess and they did a great job with her. A very family friendly restaurant. It gets very busy on Saturday night.
