I'm sure the drinks are much better than the food. My family and I were in the mood for something different. We decided to skip our regular Old Town spots and give 559 a shot since they had some live music and were really excited to have us check out the menu. They were very accommodating, which is the reason for the the three stars, but thats where the great experience ended. The food was not what we hoped for. Firstly, only bottled water can be purchased "because of COVID-19." Are you kidding me? You can serve other drinks in glasses, but not water? We should have left when you gave this lane excuse, but we really want to give you a shot. Really, though stop with this lame excuse. I will not comment on the chicken strips since they were a total accommodation and we are very grateful for the strings they pulled. It came out early because it was for our toddler. Thank you. The rest of the food took much longer and was not worth the wait. The bacon blue burger came without the bacon. Had I not shown the server, I don't think the kitchen would've believed me. At least that's what the server led me to believe when she said they argued that they put bacon on the burger. The burger was basic. A basic frozen patty with a couple of slices of tomato, two rings of onion, and some blue cheese, on a brioche bun. The burger was as good as described. I upgraded to onion rings, which were worth the upgrade. The fries just didn't seem very appealing. The onion rings were very tasty. The fish and chips came out very hot. There was an earthy taste that was subtle, but noticeable. It was... interesting. The tarter sauce was basic, but good. The chips (fries) were just your basic fries. They were okay. Overall, the food experience was lackluster, but the service was great.

We had an absolutely delightful experience! I'm not usually. Fan of beer but tried both of their amber ales and they were spectacular. Cheryl was wonderful and kind, the outdoor seating with local live music was magic, and the whole ambiance was comfortable and fun. We are just traveling through but will likely come back for another visit.

What an amazing experience. Wonderful staff. Delicious food and brews. And I'm a burger and beer aficionado and the western BBQ burger did not disappoint. Nor did the churrro stout, which was on seasonal rotation. Honestly, it was absolutely to die for. Without a doubt, serve it at my wake! I'm telling you right now, take the time to swing by this family owned establishment and show them some love. The live music was awesome and the owners even take the time to check in on customers to make sure they are having the best experience possible. 10 out of 10, five stars, and two thumbs up!
