The Rock Bar & Grill

The rock has instantly become my favorite wing place, I don’t mind driving to Clifton knowing I’m getting a good mix of good drinks and good food, Bartenders are usually the same two girls every time, and they make really good drinks and provide good service. Music is always good in the background, and they have a ton of TVs for any important event or sports game, and further back there’s room for darts and other games to keep you occupied. All in all so far I haven’t found a better night out for wings. Come here and enjoy !

Classic bar food and decent prices but the Thai Chili wings were AWESOME!! Sweet, tangy, and just the right amount of spice smothered on chicken wings, delicious. Parmesan garlic wings were also good and fortunately did not have a lot of garlic taste otherwise they would mask the creamy Parmesan flavor. The personal size plain pizza was fresh, not overcooked, and was comparable in taste to a pie you’d get from Pizza Hut/Papa John’s. The only item I was not a fan of was the disco fries (mozzarella and gravy topping). Flavor just tasted kinda funny (like plastic/styrofoam?!), fries were very thin, and they did not hold up well in the packaging which may be to blame as opposed to ordering them fresh at the bar. Next time I’d suggest ordering the fries plain, or with a dry seasoning unless they start using thicker cut fries (makes a HUGE difference). Otherwise, everything was about what you’d expect from a bar and the prices are reasonable...Will give some other items on their menu a try soon!

Food was good, and mixed drinks were good. Prices were a little more than average. My mixed drink was $12 (one shot of liquor and juice in a cup filled with ice). Service was ok at first then declined once it got packed. Bartenders legit ignored me and took others drink orders because they were regulars. They did not seem as friendly if you are any other ethnicity other than white. Very tight near the bar and in between the tables, people kept bumping into us. It was annoying. I won't return.

Manager Alexis was very rude and not accommodating to guests. The wings may be good but if the experience is sub par, it isn’t worth it. Not a good experience. This place was one of my favs but I realize that both ladies Danielle and Alexis only took care of their people and everyone else didn’t matter. Other people were able to order food yet we were told it was 2 mins to late . . #makeitmakesense
