Even though they have no gluten-free offerings, there were a number of good choices. Corporate emphasis is on healthful eating, for which they provide well, including specialty herbal teas as well as sophisticated coffee blends. We experienced a little mix-up in our order, mainly because, with the masks on, clear hearing is a problem. The manager was on top of it, though, satisfying us generously and completely, without our asking. Staff in general were friendly, helpful. The young person who initially took our order actually came outside on the patio to apologize for the mix-up, which was, for me, a real heads-up action, left me with an even warmer feeling for the place. Very pleasant place -- peaceful upscale ambiance in a low-moderate price range. I love beautiful wood, so I really appreciated their table tops. The landscaping was thoughtfully designed, well executed, as the photos show. Yes, we recommend Panera Bread of Clemmons!

Mrs Anita, this is for you if you can see this! Your are by far the most amazing customer service lady ever . Super friendly greets you like you mean something to her, she spreads love and never gets upset when you ask her something. She got my order this morning and again in the afternoon she walked so happily to my car delivered the coffee tote then I said they forgot the milk and she said nicely don’t worry sweetie I’ll get it. She didn’t even get upset or say we ran out. Best customer service Mrs Anita! Need more happy souls like you

I am so pleased with this Panera Bread's courtesy, fresh food, and clean study areas! I have been working on my Master's for the past year and without this Panera Bread, I don't know how I would get my work done! I enjoy the quiet atmosphere, employees always ask if I need anything, and the aroma is so amazing.....yuuumm! I can tell that the managing staff is really putting a lot of effort into making sure the store is well run, staff is knowledgeable, and that they are providing high quality meals! This Panera Bread is doing an amazing job and I applaud their management! I visit at least once a week and would highly recommend others to make this a frequent stop!

Call me old fashion, but I like personal service. The kiosks are convenient but not a substitute for a "hello" or "welcome" from an employee. I feel like employees have a "covid mentality" and cater to pick up customers. You have to interrupt someone to ask a question rather than being acknowledged. The coffee was cold and my bagel was sliced and served without toasting. The service is bad but management is to blame. I no longer enjoy coming here but like the food.

Waited almost 15 minutes just to order our food. After the long wait, we didn’t receive an “I’m sorry about the wait” or anything. Wish I could say the food made up for it, but unfortunately that was a disaster as well. I can’t believe how rude these employees are to their paying customers. I ordered a bread bowl of tomato soup for my son and it was put into a cup. When I addressed this to an employee’s attention they told me that unfortunately the bread bowl costs extra and they cannot do that. I explained that I knew for a FACT that I ordered it and then a manager came around to show me our ticket and argue with me that I ordered a cup. I guess it didn’t cross their minds that their cashier could have made a mistake. After having to ARGUE with the manager for several minutes about the situation she gave in and dumped the cup of soup into a bread bowl, although she acted pained to do so. To top it off our Caesar salads didn’t have croutons and when my mom went to ask about them she was told they were out of the things they needed to make them. I wish we would have been informed of that while ordering. I think it’s easy to say that we will never be returning to this Panera Bread location.
