Wickham Arms

Had a great stay here while attending a local training centre. It’s simply a traditional old school boozer with lots of rooms. The rooms are dated and yes, could be refurbished, but then you simply would be getting it for the price that you do. Single occupancy in an en-suite with towels provided for £30 is decent value. I’d been in a BnB prior to this place, but it was nice to get some privacy. I didn’t get breakfast included as I was out early in the mornings for training. Only had a couple bottles from the bar to take to my room, but they were good and reasonably priced. There’s a decent sized car park to the front too with easy access to the hotel. I’ll be returning and would recommend to others.

I stayed one night during the week. My room had a double bed and two twin beds. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower cubicle with a rainfall shower head a handheld shower and 6 body jets. Hand cleaning jell is provided. You need to take your own shower jell etc. The breakfast was excellent. Overall I had a good nights sleep and will definitely stay again.
