Applebee's

Didn't have the best of experiences here sadly. The waiter was very short and kind of rude when my sisters and I came in. When we asked for 2 high chairs because my sister and I have 2 9 month old children he was rude and said well you guys can't sit at a booth which we had never asked to sit at a booth and then made a big deal about having to turn the table because they can't have two high chairs on the end. He then was okay for a bit but would get moody and short with us and didn't offer to take the empty plates off the table so that we would have more room. Almost all of our food was good. I was a little disappointed that my bourbon chicken and shrimp was charred and burnt but it was still okay tasting. The potatoes were great. I had asked our server when he brought out our food to have the cooks to start making my to go order so that it would be ready to go when we were ready to leave . When it came time for us to pay and leave, I asked the waiter if he had forgot about my to go order because it wasn't on my bill. He told me he just forgot to put it on the slip and that it should be ready any minute and that he would be back with my correct bill. I paid and proceeded to wait another almost 15 minutes for my to go order. I wish he would have just told me he had forgot and that it was gonna be a little bit of a wait instead of telling me it should be ready any minute. I think maybe he was having a bad day. I hope the next time I go it will be a better experience. I was super excited to try it out because I had heard good things from my sisters and was disappointed that we had a not so great experience.

This is totally disgusting. I don't know what this is in my steak (looked like a worm!) but I will never eat at this Clarion, PA Applebees or any other Applebees again in my life. Waitress didn't even act that surprised. Was just gonna bring me another. Was like no thanks. We both lost our appetite. They gave us just the cost of the steak back. The entire meal should have cost nothing. I was so grossed out I was ready to hurl. Never seen such a disgusting thing in any steak I've ever eaten anywhere. Stay away from this hogs nest! Reporting you to health inspectors Clarion Applebees!

Had one of the best ribeye steaks I have had in a long time. Our server was really nice had a great sense of humor. Prices were really reasonable as well. I have a hard time walking because of my back and the greeter went out of her way to help us. Very patient young lady. Highly recommend them.make sure you go hungry because the portions are big. The deserts are really great as well

This Applebees was very clean and the food came out quickly. They seemed to follow all the franchise protocols and my dad and I ended up rolling out of there full. Our waitress Kylee was very nice and helpful to us. She has probably been there for a while. If you come here as a regular or someone passing by, ask for her and she will assist you!

This is a great Clarion restaurant. My daughter and I can eat her for around 30 bucks. This amount yields me the amazing Balsamic Strawberry Chicken Salad and an equally amazing glass of their Red Apple Sangria. She gets whatever she wants in addition to our customary appetizer of Spinach Artichoke Dip, which is also amazing. Reasonably priced, good food, good wine and always friendly service makes this my baby girls favorite place to go in Clarion. They also have a nice and well stocked bar to boot. Well, unfortunately, I had a bad experience here today. So I wanted a red sangria with lunch, on my gf's birthday no less. But....when I presented my clarion county concealed weapons permit, which is complete with color photo and all relevant person information (d.o.b, height, weight, etc), I was told this wasn't good enough. And I think this is ridiculous. The only difference between this and my drivers license, is my drivers license number and nothing more. So, I find it hard to believe that I could be given permission to carry loaded weapons concealed and yet this not be good enough to verify my age for a drink at a restaurant. Absolutely outrageous in every way and it'll be a long stretch before I return to this den of absurdity.
