Mr. Mick

Visited Mr Mick for lunch, was slightly crowded and thankfully we did managed to get in without a reservation. Ordered the pork, lamb and patatas and churros. Love how the food here is fusion. I believe the pork belly was cooked in a style which has Chinese influence and served with plum sauce. Love the patatas. The menu is great and offers suggestions on the type of wine to pair.

We had a brilliant meal here! The food was all delicious (we had 8 dishes including dessert 🙈), the wines were easy drinking and I liked more than I usually do which meant we bought some to take away. Lauren and James were very attentive and lovely- great staff! The setting was relaxed and the night overall really good :-) I would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Best dining experience I've had. We have several severe food allergies in our family, but Mr Mick's told us "not a problem, we can certainly accommodate." Online bookings are easy, we phoned to discuss the menu and they were very friendly & helpful. Beautiful grounds; a warm, sincere welcome. Customer service is superb, but the food... OMG. Sublime. We had the Chef's Selection (6 courses) and it begins with Delicious. Each course more sensational, more pleasurable and stimulating to the palate, culminating in an absolutely sinfully dessert. We will certainly come again. And again.

Gorgeous outside garden, very dog friendly. We had the feed me menu and the accompanying wines. It isn't quite fine-dining food/wine, but really delicious and varied, and almost unbelievable value for money given the setting. The service was amazing too - such a lovely lady (unfortunately can't remember her name!)

Did the Riesling Trail ride with friends between Auburn and Clare. We stopped by cafès instead wineries. We went in Mr. Mick as we arrived in Clare in the late afternoon and some cafès are closed. It was fully booked at the indoor dining area. The very friendly staff members managed a table outside near the fireplace for us even we just want snacks and coffee. Foods are very good too! If you like wine tasting with good food and great services. You definitely should try Mr. Mick. But make sure you book your table as it looks very busy on the weekend.

Unfortunately really disappointed with our lunch today - We sat down for the chef selection with wine pairing. Several of the dishes were very much under seasoned, beef dish over cooked, other dishes very much under done. Descriptions of food and wine were almost none existent - A very important factor if you're paying for a premium "pairing". It was a very disappointing experience as we did hear such good review about.
