I stop and eat here every time my wife and I go fishing at Higgins Ferry Lake Mitchel .we drive 2 hours up there to fish . It is so nice to have a sit down meal after a long day on the water . Tonight we had , steak and squared shrimp , fry's or baked potato , salad and a drink for 15.99 . Can't beat that . The food was average that you would expect at a dinner but the service and the family atmosphere is always the same with politeness and smiles . I do recommend this place for nice food , friendly faces at a price you can afford .

The food was ok and the servers tried, but the restaurant was very understaffed. Service was extremely slow. Some of the food was cold. We had 20 out of state guests and about 20 locals who wanted to get together following a funeral. Some in our group never got served, many were served late and some had to help distribute drinks and tableware. We called several days ahead to arrange for our large family group, two family members went to the restaurant days before to confirm and we called a hour before our arrival time to again confirm. The manager said they could handle the group and would be ready. But they did not have the staff to handle our group. The bathroom backed up right after we arrived and they had to get a wet dry vacuum to clean up. Kountry Kitchen shouldn't advertise that it can handle events or large groups. It was a very disappointing and embarrassing experience especially with so many out of state guests.

The food sucks!!! Burnt over and undercooked , staff has lost there Courtesy They have also lost their understanding and how to check on a customer when they are eating To see if they might need drinks or other items, Don't get me wrong this place used to be very good it used to be very friendly atmosphere a place where you could bring your family and have a good meal and enjoy your time now it is turned into just like all the other fast food crappied restaurants all around Over The places You go to eat The kitchens are horrible the floors are absolutely filthy there's no telling what the health rating is and if it is a good one then somebody forwards that

Excellent customer service, the waitress was very helpful with great suggestions of all of their delicious food. I decided on a bacon cheeseburger and tater tots. It didn’t take long for this delicious burger and tots to come out and was steaming hot. Loved the quiet and homelike atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
